As an exhibition non-collection institution (so-called Kunsthalle), Galerie Rudolfinum focuses primarily on the presentation of contemporary foreign and Czech art. The long-term goal of Galerie Rudolfinum is to build an open communication space, which includes not only organizing exhibitions, but also active publishing activities, creating educational programs for schools and the public, organizing lectures, seminars, theater performances, music shows, etc. These activities are served not only by the gallery, but also by the separate educational center Artpark, whose dramaturgy follows on from ongoing exhibitions with the aim of bringing contemporary art closer to children and youth, but also to adults.
